Chain-Serts are replaceable carbide tooth inserts for woodcutting saw chain. The Chain-Serts are inserted onto a Chain-Serts holder. The Chain-Serts holder is linked between tie-straps on a saw chain. There are no pins, nuts, bolts, clamps or special fasteners .The Chain-Sert tooth wedges on tight!
The Chain-Sert System is a two part system; consisting of a replaceable carbide-tipped insert cutter and a specially designed chain that is actually a tool holder for the cutter. The cutter is designed to be replaced when dulled or damaged. The chain, as a tool holder, is designed and manufactured to wear longer than standard commercial saw chain.
The currently available Chain-Sert System size is ¾” pitch (.750), .122 gauge saw chain with semi-chisel carbide-tipped replaceable inserts. This size chain will fit on all standard .122 gauge bars for harvesters, slasher saws, felling heads and firewood processors.
