Chain-Serts are replaceable tooth inserts for woodcutting saw chain. The Chain-Serts are inserted onto a Chain-Serts holder. The Chain-Serts holder is linked between connectors (tie-straps) on a saw chain. When the chain is properly tightened, the Keeper drive-link keeps the tooth in place on the Chain-Sert holder drive link. The tooth (cutter) wedges into place when it contacts the wood. There are no pins, nuts, bolts, clamps or special fastener.. The Chain-Sert tooth wedges on!
Chain-Serts is EASY-TO-USE! The dulled or damaged tooth can be easily tapped off and does not require a special tool. Simply slide a new tooth onto the holder drive link (Click here to view: Replacing a Chain-Serts Cutter). Chain-Sert teeth are disposed of when they are no longer useable.
The Chain-Sert system is tough! Chain-Sert cutters are currently available in a full chisel, carbide-tip. They can survive inclusions in the wood such as sand, mud, stone, and nails. Our saw chain (tool holder for the cutter) is made from aircraft quality steel.
Chain-Serts are economical. They save time and money. “When you are sharpening you are not cutting; therefore you are not making money. As always, time is money, and there is no time for downtime in this economy, says the inventor of Chain-Serts, Dave Szymanski. (Interested in the history? Click here.) Chain-Serts saves wear and tear on your machine. The tooth stays sharper longer and the saw tooth angles are always the same. Packaging and shipping costs are reduced also, when you only have the teeth to replace versus the whole saw chain.
Chain-Serts are safe. No more sharpening your saw chain again, therefore no more bloody knuckles! Tap-off the old tooth and slide-on the new tooth. No more grinding wheels, files, file guides or depth gauge tools for sharpening. A sharp tooth with the correct angles makes for a safer saw chain.
Chain-Serts is designed to provide an easy to use, economical, stronger and safer alternative to current saw chain.
Chain-Serts saw chain is the “greenest” saw chain on the market.
Essentially Chain-Serts by design reduces raw material waste and environmentally toxic processes. Chain-Serts saw chain (chassis or tool holder) is manufactured from aircraft structural quality steel. It is designed not wear out. The user will only be replacing the worn-out Chain-Sert tooth (cutter). Our saw chain is not chrome-plated, which is a deadly process to the environment. This is a standard process on currently available commercial saw chain.
The saw chain teeth are replaceable. Therefore when Chain-Serts’ saw tooth becomes dull, you only replace the dulled cutter(s), NOT the whole saw chain.
Reduced shipping costs. How? No longer does a whole chain have to be shipped when the saw teeth become dulled.
Reduced raw material usage. How ? By design Chain-Serts reduces the amount of raw steel used and consumed therefore this leads to less steel, less waste.
Reduced packaging. How? A package of replaceable saw chain teeth does not require the amount of packaging a complete standard chain uses.
No Chroming. Chroming is dangerous to the environment. We don’t do that.
A sharp cutting tool uses less energy and gas!

SawNserts is a circular blade system which utilizes the replaceable tooth. The replaceable saw tooth wedges onto the circular blade’s holder. We offer a semi-chisel carbide-tipped tooth for this system. The cutting tooth is tapped-off when it becomes dulled or damaged and replaced with a new cutting tooth.
We offer a two-blade system that has a patent-pending safety system which is suited for stump removal and cutting of concrete. The single blade system is for fixed shaft saw unit.
SawNsert cutters are precision ground to the same tolerances as standard saw blades.
